MINUTES OF VILLAGE BOARD MEETING

April 15, 2008

The meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Slinger was called to order by President Brandt at 300 Slinger Road, Slinger, WI, at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, in accordance with the Notice of Meeting delivered to the members on Friday, April 11, 2008.

President Brandt informed the members present that the open meeting law had been complied with in connection with the meeting. Notice of the meeting was sent to all who requested same and posted in three public locations.

  1. Closed Session
     

Go into Closed Session Pursuant to Authorization Conferred by Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (1) (f) Considering Financial, Medical, Social or Personal Histories or Disciplinary Data of Specific Persons Preliminary Consideration of Specific Personnel Problems or the Investigation of Charges Against Specific Persons Except Where par. (b) Applies Which if Discussed in Public, Would be Likely to Have a Substantial Adverse Effect Upon the Reputation of any Person Referred to in Such Histories or Data, or Involved in Such Problems or Investigation & Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (1) (g) Conferring with Legal Counsel for the Governmental Body Who is Rendering Oral or Written Advice Concerning Strategy to be Adopted by the Body with Respect to Litigation in Which it is or is Likely to Become Involved. (Impact of Arbitration Award & Possible Appeal)

President Brandt stated the meeting would now go into closed session as indicated on the agenda. It was agreed that the closed session would include Administrator Murphy, Treasurer Wilber and Attorney Pirkey. It was further agreed that Engineer Haggerty and Superintendent Moser may be called into the closed session at a later time if needed.

Motion Dukelow/Foerster to go into closed session in accordance with WI Statute 19.85(1)(f) with Administrator Murphy, Treasurer Wilber, Attorney Pirkey, Engineer Haggerty and Superintendent Moser authorized to participate; carried unanimously.
 

  1. Return to Open Session & If Needed Take Action on Closed Session Item

    There being no action required, the Board adjourned in closed session.

Motion Mueller/Dukelow to adjourn at 7:43 p.m.; carried.
