Recycling Information

Residents are required to place recycling bags at curbside no earlier than 24 hours prior to collection & no later than 7 a.m. on collection days. If no curb exists, or if you live in a condominium, multi-family unit, or operate a commercial business, place bags at the end of your driveway.

Remember, all recyclable materials must be placed in a "Blue Bag" with the exception of "magazines", "newspapers", and "miscellaneous paper", which should be bundled together or placed in brown paper sacks. All types of cardboard must be flattened and bundled into manageable pieces. (Maximum 30" X 30")

Appliances & Large Items
Appliances and large items can be picked up by Veolia for a fee. To make arrangements for pickup, please call 1-800-387-0949. Large items include: Beds (Box Spring & Mattress); TV sets; Couches; Tables; Chairs.
For the disposal of Air Conditioners; Refrigerators; Freezers; Dehumidifiers; Washers; Dryers; Water Heaters; and Stoves please call Port Recyclers at 262-284-4060. NOTE: There is a charge for all special pick-up items.

REFUSE REMINDER
Trash Bags MUST be placed inside refuse containers. Trash not placed inside these containers will be left behind.
