State Wide Voter Registration became mandatory for all communities as of January 1, 2006. Although many residents registered for voting in 2006 there are many that may believe they are registered to vote and are not. Village Hall is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday–Friday to register in person or to verify that you’ve registered.  (You can also contact us by phone to see if you are registered.  Call 262-644-5265.)  There is also a brand new website that the State of Wisconsin has added to assist voters.   You can type in your name, address and date of birth and it will tell you where you are registered, your polling place location, a recent summary of when you voted last, and even tell you who your legislators are and contact information.  Just follow this link: http://vpa.wi.gov/

If you are registering, don’t forget to bring the proper I.D. with you. (Proper I.D. includes a copy of a current or valid photo I.D.; a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check or document, or pay check with your complete name and current address on it.) If you are registering by mail, you will need to send a copy of your I.D. with your application.
